“To give no trust is to get no trust” 💡💡💡💡💡💡💡 Want to know how the Taiwanese government drew on ancient wisdom to increase trust levels from below 10% in 2015 to nearly 70% this year? TLDR: they chose actively to trust - and therefore INVOLVE - the Taiwanese people. 🧵

@iamstephenwest was listening to your episode on Han and I had goosebumps because I wrote something similar on Narcissism. Definitely did not word it as well as how you’ve put it but I had fun debating about it on Reddit afterwards! open.substack.com/pub/chusana/p/…

Zomi & Chef Oli's last video, they are aid workers affiliated with The World Central Kitchen [WCK]. Israel today deliberately killed them so that no one would dare to help these dying from hunger people!

@ConsilienceNews @GretaThunberg I mentioned you in my piece on the metacrisis and said that you were at the forefront of fighting climate change. Have you listened to some of Daniel Schmachtenberger’s talk? I think he’s one of the “integrator” we need to help solve complex systemic issues.

Daniel Schmachtenberger touched on the psychological drivers behind the metacrisis we’re facing in his fascinating conversation with Iain McGilchrist and John Vervaeke - I did my piece on some of the profound insights they shared open.substack.com/pub/chusana/p/…

As speculation continues around the attack on Al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza, Bellingcat researchers have been analysing footage from the explosion. We’ve identified a possible impact site, a crater visible from several angles. bellingcat.com/news/2023/10/1…

@ThaiEnquirer This is so brutal. Hamas (and possibly other foreign groups) is just after maximum damage. No matter what race. Just destruction for the sake of destruction. I wonder who’s gaining from all this chaos.

According to one of the Thai workers who was evacuated from Israel, some of the Hamas militants were targeting Thai workers. Suriyan or Top, who had been working at a kibbutz located 3-4 kilometers from the Gaza Strip, told journalists upon his arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport that some of the attackers were speaking in Thai in an attempt to lure Thai workers out of their hiding places. He said that when the attackers arrived, he witnessed them abducting two Thai workers, a husband and wife, before shooting at the others. He then sought refuge in a bunker with one of his friends. The attackers threw grenades and fired at the bunker, but they did not manage to break in. After some time passed, he and his friend could hear people outside repeatedly yelling "Hello, Thai people" in Thai (สวัสดีครับคนไทย). Suriyan said his friend initially intended to leave their safety bunker, believing they were being rescued. However, it turned out that the individuals outside were the attackers. He noted that they could speak Thai as if they had received training for it. He said that when they decided to stay in their bunker, the attackers began throwing grenades and setting buildings on fire, making it difficult to breathe. This forced them to escape the bunker and flee the kibbutz. Suriyan added that he was not wearing any shoes at the time while he hid throughout the night. However, he did have a phone with him, which allowed him to contact his friend, who had been rescued earlier, and inform the authorities of his location for pickup the following morning around 11 a.m. #Thailand #Israel #IsraelHamasWar #อิสราเอล #อิสราเอลฮามาส

@Luiseach I was in another exchange with someone who thinks Palestinians are “guilty by association”. And had the audacity to prop herself as “a better mother” than those in Palestine because “she would never send her kid to war”.

even if you were to believe that every single adult Palestinian (including the very old, and sick, and those in hospital etc etc) in Gaza could and should have ‘risen up’ and ‘fought’ Hamas, is the same to apply to children and babies??

@NInterit @terrybythebay @lhfang In that case, I hope you achieve both your inner and outer peace soon. Because your viewpoint about Palestinian people being “guilty by association” is hateful and narrow-minded. It’s this type of thinking that it keeps instilling hate in new generations.

And you, my friend, don't seem to understand that there is no such thing as outer peace without inner peace. As to Hamas : in my personal understanding of terrorism (I'm European and have lived with RAF and IRA terrorism in my childhood) : terrorists live and breed in a community of hate, willing to dehumanise it's opponents - to separate them is to misunderstand the root of terrorism. One is the cristallisation of the other.

Kind of doubt the Israeli military had no ability to detect Hamas training in public for weeks, detect Hamas attacks on Israeli soil for over half a day, yet has the ability to drop 6,000 bombs on precise “Hamas targets” in densely crowded residential areas.

@KhaosodEnglish Of course he got discredited. And rightly so. It doesn’t matter if the deed was done prior to him being an MP. It shows his core character which is very unfitting of any leadership position. His actions were pure harassment.
