@LegacyKillaHD Genuinely fell asleep whilst playing Starfield more than once, the only game to ever achieve such an honour. Pushed myself to finish the main story and unlock all the powers, hoping that they’d do a huge overhaul and it’d be worth returning to one day. That was over 2 years ago.

Everyone associated with this game is somehow incapable of understanding that a lot of people just didnt like Starfield. The games design didnt click. Everything was too far apart and you were often playing menu simulator with a boring cast of characters.

Visiting the rescued Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand this year, was a highlight. Having researched many of the centres, it was the Elephant Jungle sanctuary that me & hubby wished to visit (the fact we later realised they called it EJs was a spiritual sign 😉) The rescued elephants had varying degrees of trauma, and were now enjoying a laid back life with a community that cared and looked after them in ways they had maybe not seen; sad isn’t it really. I found it utterly heartbreaking listening to the stories from the experts working with them, and also witnessing the behaviours of some of the elephants who just hadn’t had enough time to absorb the kindness / love that could help turn the table on their learnt behaviours, triggered by the trauma of abuse - something I could really relate to. All rescued victims need time… The freedom they now have with the community they are now in, was beautiful - quite emotional really. I wiped away tears several times just listening / watching these Elephants. Personally, I would prefer to see these amazing animals in their natural habit, but being released into that environment now would bring further difficulties to these beautiful, but tame creatures. However, I could see they were happy being given this freedom, and all done without any aggression, whip or chain in sight - given where they were in life before this tranquillity, I’ll take that. Just being close to the elephants was simply enough, it felt like a big spa day, which felt like a nice thing to do for them. I could see the signs of trauma with one or two. One elephant was rocking as if she still had her chains tied onto her legs. How can anyone think that’s a kind way to treat animals…💔 the people found to be treating animals like that should live out their life in prison. I would love to do more helping animals who’d been captured / abused 🙏🏼 ⬇️❣️⬇️ The Elephant Jungle Sanctuary is an award-winning ethical and sustainable eco-tourism project based in Thailand.
