Call your dad. Call your mum. Hang out with your siblings. Forgive your friends. At the end of the day, that grudge you are holding on to is just that... A grudge. It's inconsequential in the grand scheme of things. Give people their flowers while they are still here....

I met with a young person recently who made a position known to me on a subject in the Bible. When I showed a couple of scriptures that contradicted his opinion his reply was it was the report of the apostle about what Jesus did and not the exact words of Jesus himself so it shouldn't be treated as being accurate. My question, therefore, is which scripture written wasn't penned by a human agent ? Even the ones that are recorded "God said" really you can say it's Paul or Jeremiah's account of what they heard God say and they may have interpreted wrongly. This, you can say to any scripture that doesn't fit your position. All the gospels are accounts of what the 4 disciples say Jesus said. We are beginning on a dangerous path to discredit the scriptures, and it is purely an attack on the move of the Spirit in this country. Yes, due to certain issues we will discuss later, Charlatans infiltrated the move of the Spirit in this country and other parts, and it was purely to make mercahndise of God's people. They saw a weakness which was ignorance and exploited it. This came because we grew churches without necessarily insisting on basic discipleship marked by the Spirit illuminating the minds of our listeners without which they will receive no revelation, but it will register as the teaching of men. Paul spoke by revelation and not a humanistic understanding. Galatians 1:12 "For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." Without a personal revelation of truth embraced, we are left with weakness. Many heard, but never with their own eyes saw what was said, and so they practised things they didn't understand but simply because they were told to. Many need a Job moment. Job 42:5 "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee." The disappointments people have had with some ministers should not be exploited for selfish reasons. Some even today are still doing this while "battling false doctrines." We are sounding an alarm that aethism is creeping in, and there is an attack on the validity of the scriptures as the written word of God. I believe some of the Ministers pushing this thing don't even know the unintended consequence of what they are doing. A younger generation will arise that will say outlandish things and "upstage" them in this path. They themselves will be left bewildered A watchman stands on the tower to see what is far ahead and sounds the alarm about what is coming. I urge local pastors to ground their congregation in scriptural teachings. Pray Ephesians 1: 16-18 daily over them. Only those who have the spirit of wisdom and revelation resting upon them will discern. You are helpless without the spirit of wisdom and revelation. It is imperative.

To everyone grieving a loved one, I wish I could hug you and take the pain away... but I hope you find it in your heart to keep their memory alive by talking about the good times you had. We are grateful that we got to experience them as they passed through this world. 💕💕🎈

@okoliobianuju_ @diaryofa9jagirl Friendship is so dicey sometimes. Maybe you can't call her an intimate friend, but she was her close friend who did her dirty. The fact that she's willing to continue to be friends with her shows the good heart she has. But caution is key.

#DearDang: Dear Ife, When I was studying for my masters here in the UK, I had a roommate. We’re not best friends but we are close enough. I told her I really liked a guy in class. I’m not the type of girl that tells a guy I like him. I smiled at the guy a lot in class and tried to sit beside him most times, but it wasn’t always possible so I’d just go and sit somewhere else and mind my business.

Even though the issue happened a while ago, I have started looking at her differently. She’s going through a heartbreak now, so I won’t say anything to her right now. My question is should I say anything at all? She has been there for me, especially when I had financial issues. I remember the nice things she’s done for me, but anytime we speak or I see her, I can’t help feeling betrayed somehow. I know it doesn’t make sense but this is how I feel. What do I do?

4) Forgiveness is really for you. Not them. Your inability to forgive them really keeps you bound. Hate makes you think they’re your prisoner. Forgiveness teaches you that you were your own prisoner. 5) A lot of my toxicity was tied to this relationship & what it birthed in me

I’ve carried this thing with me for the longest time. I wish he knew I loved him, I wish he knew I forgave him. I wish I had said it. I’ve lived that phone call in my head every year. So what’s this long story and thread for? 1) Hate is too great a burden to carry. Too great

How to change character defects or break habits. To get delivered from something (bad habit or character flaw) you first have to separate yourself mentally from it. That you are in a situation doesn't make you a victim that you have a bad habit doesn't mean that is who you are. Do not define yourself in the light of it. You may have done what they say you are doing but that doesn't mean you are who they say you are. What you are currently experiencing or doing must be separated from your identity. With your words constantly affirm your identify, who you really are as separate from your apparent condition. This identity must be founded on the truth and then extended to your imagination. Every time the thought of your situation or condition arises, replace that thought with the an image of the truth by using words that describe your identity or future. Persist in the practise of this and your character defect will change.

I wrote this and first published it on 15th of July 2020 Why doctrinal errors easily thrive, people believe conspiracy theories and fake news work. Once people do not have a culture that encourages deep thinking, search for the truth and weighing their scriptural expectations against real time experiences with the mindset of closing the gap, they will fall prey to error. Dr Daniel Gilbert a renowned psychologist proposed a theory over two decades ago about how lies impact the human brain.Gilbert argued that we initially hold a lie to be true because we first have to accept something to be able to understand or evaluate it. Gilbert further argued that after initially accepting a lie as true we must then do the hard work of assessing its validity. Given the limitations of time, energy, or conclusive evidence, many of us fail to "unaccept" some of the lies we are told. Consequently, we sometimes continue to believe something as true even though there is ample evidence to disprove it. This is why fake news and propaganda work. People just will not do the mental work to evaluate every thought they have accepted. This is how false doctrines thrive and multitudes can become victims of deception. If you will live a full and healthy life, you must take up the task of verifying things you accepted as true particularly if the expectations it has created in you doesn't match with the realities it is delivering in your daily life. You must be bold and courageous enough to use truth to remove the veil. Truth is not personality driven and you must verify ideas and thoughts through personal study.

Best ideas are opportunities discovered and not predetermined. God shows you something like he told Abrahan, "the land I will shew thee" there with what he shows you, he will make your name great and you will dominate globally. The kingdom is like a treasure hidden in a field, let God show you don't choose.
