(Leak) Cultist Screenshots from D10 #Helldivers2 As difficulty goes up, shield health does as well. The cultists are mostly low health, high damage. Lots of abilities that can one-shot you. Hierarchy of units: Illusionist - D7+ Summoner, Sentinel - D4+ Magus (Wizard) - D2+ Outcasts, Observers, and Xenobites spawn on all difficulties.

@thecolebrew have that tech. The demons remind me too much War-Hammer, and the orcs look cool, but remind me of the cyborgs from HD1. So I think it would be best to have a Rebel like faction.

@thecolebrew So lets think on how these factions would travel from planet to planet, now it would be possible for the Rebellious Collation (Anti-Helldivers) since they probably would have the same tech as Super Earth. For the lizards people, they look rather tribal and probably wouldn't-

@skaianDestiny @Iron_S1ghts Probably because of the Ram thing Iron said earlier, I feel like if they were to add it they only can have a select few enemies of both factions, or optimizations in general.

@CinderBg @Iron_S1ghts The devs have said they tested factions fighting each other and it worked well, but it was too performance intensive.

So, If I try to force it the game just crashes, likely as a failsafe. But it is technically possible. Whichever faction you play against, all of their assets get stored in your RAM. If you play against two factions at once, both of their assets must be stored in memory, which is likely a bit more than the RAM allocated for the Playstation. It could cause instabilities on the Playstation, and Sony wouldn't greenlight it. Performance optimizations would likely need to be made to pull it off.

@Iron_S1ghts That’s a shame though, have you tried putting both factions on the same planet before? Or can you not do that?

Just to be clear, these are not multi-faction missions be tested. Just multiple subfactions on one planet, similar to Operation Firewall on Popli IX. So, Jet Brigade, Incineration Corps, etc. Just a bunch of them on one planet. Probably stress testing performance.
