Trying to think of books where the film adaptation is considered vastly superior in quality. An odd one would probably be The Bridges of Madison County which consistently is picked as one of Clint's best directed films but the novel is usually considered mediocre at best

The incident was captured on video obtained by Deadline. Multiple sources confirm to Deadline that the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass to be purposefully shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors. Since the tempered glass was only sitting loosely in the window, both the actors and the sheet of glass fell about six feet to the ground. Kilcoyne required stitches “all over his hands” after the incident, sources with knowledge of the incident say. One crew member, who says they arrived on set after the incident to help reset the scene told Deadline on the condition of anonymity: “When I got there, nobody mentioned anything about people falling out the window…It seemed weird to me.” Read more details here: deadline.com/2026/04/jonath…

France is America's oldest ally.. they bankrolled the American Revolution.. they gave America the Statue of Liberty.. they are a founding NATO member.. and they just sided with Russia and China.. this happened once before.. February 14, 2003.. France's Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin stood at the UN Security Council and told America it would veto any authorization for the Iraq War.. the chamber applauded.. breaking a protocol that had never been broken before.. France called military force "not justified.." America went in anyway.. 20 years.. $2 trillion.. 4,400 soldiers dead.. and when the dust settled Iran had more influence in Iraq than America did.. France was right.. tonight France called military action in the Strait unrealistic and blocked the resolution again.. the last time France said no in that chamber, history proved them right.. America went in anyway.. and we all know how that ended.

C'est tellement OK de mettre zéro à une œuvre artistique. C'est tout le principe de l'art qui ne dépend pas de critères purement objectifs contrairement à un devoir de math, un test de micro-onde ou jeu vidéo.

C’est confirmé, des poursuites pénales sont actuellement envisagées par le gouvernement pour les propos tenus sur CNews visant le maire de Saint-Denis. Que le nouveau maire LFI @BallyBagayoko adopte une posture victimaire, cela n’étonne personne. En revanche, que le gouvernement s’engouffre dans cette polémique, en instrumentalisant le combat antiraciste à son avantage, c’est vraiment malsain et immoral.
