In loving memory of Charlie Kirk, a fearless patriot & man of unwavering faith who dedicated his life to America.
"It's bigger than you, I want you to remember that... It's bigger than me - you are here to make somebody else's life better, the pursuit of liberty & freedom."❤️
"I'm just flesh and bone, but more importantly, I'm a soul, and that soul is accountable to one being."
"I've had an unbelievably blessed life... So praise God. I've been all across the world. I've met with world leaders."
"I've flown Air Force One, got to know a president. I have an amazing family, the podcast Turning Point USA... And so you experienced that, and you're like, 'What actually matters?'"
"What matters is your relationship with the divine, your relationship with your family, your kids, and maybe a close collection of friends, and your relationship with the truth."
So much wisdom and taken way too soon. Charlie Kirk will never be forgotten.
"You are commanded to go do something productive with your life."
"To go give and to produce and to risk and to then go sow into other people. That is a Biblical idea that has made the world a profoundly better place."

@NCRCisLIT A5. We have a PTO. We are starting to gain parents back into it. For a couple years, parents did not get involved and it was run by teachers only. I believe there are a couple parents now that have entere the fold.
Q5: Does your school currently have a PTO/PTA? What are some of roles of this organization?? How do you partner with parents?? #EngagingCommunityInReading
@NCRCisLIT A4. I haven’t had my own classroom for the last couple years and have been bounced about a couple positions. I will be looking into future possibilities of family engagement events.
Q4: What is something you personally do in your room to engage the community in reading? (for example guest readers reading books about their profession) #EngagingCommunityInReading
@NCRCisLIT A2. Pre-covid we had an annual 5th grade Poetry Cafe at the end of the year. Then with covid and several changes in staffing, it hasn’t been started up agai (yet?). We have just surveyed families about future events.
