Harry, Meghan’s Spare
Harry seems to have forgotten…. That during a joint documentary marking the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana's death, Prince William explicitly stated on behalf of both brothers that they would never speak so openly or intimately about their mother in public again. That vow has been broken, over and over again.

@Rimmesfk They didn't go to the UK. Her Instagram post just says summer holiday. She'll someday say these photos were an inspiration tribute to Diana.

They aren’t angry because Meghan finally posted the photos. Quite the opposite, they’ve been begging for them, refreshing instagram every hour of the day for weeks. They’re angry because the photos have blown a hole through weeks of false claims that Meghan & the children never came to the UK. The photo that’s pissed them off the most is one of Harry, Archie and Lilibet at Princess Diana’s childhood home, Althorp. Meghan behind the camera.😂 The real sting is that Meghan denied the vultures the exclusive shots they were hoping for & counting on for their next quarter , then casually posted her own. A gentle reminder that if the public is going to see her children, it’ll be on her terms, through photos she takes and she chooses to share. Imagine spending weeks insisting something never happened, only for Meghan to upload the receipts herself😂😂😂😂 They’re not angry because she posted. They’re angry because she controlled the narrative. The End😜

@unreMARKLEble I still don't believe they were there. Someday she will defend this as a tribute photo inspired by thoughts of Althorp. Her Instagram just says summer holiday, not Europe.

As suspected, these were definitely in the UK-at Althorp. Why the boy isn’t wearing shoes on a crushed rock path is weird but ok. We KNEW #MeghanMarkle couldn’t resist letting everyone know SHE was at Althorp and took the kids to Diana’s grave-the boy has a huge bouquet of flowers headed to Diana’s grave-like, there was NO WAY she was going to let that go quietly and not flex. Thank god #WilliamandCatherine dont feel the need to exploit Diana and anything associated with her. Their visits are HIGHLY private, but George and Charlotte were at a rededication ceremony at the grave in 2017 on what would have been Diana’s 56th birthday. Notice we don’t have stories about the first time William brought Catherine to his mother’s grave? We didn’t hear how Catherine “prayed” for clarity etc? Because the Wales family doesn’t dine out in her and exploit her. It’s so sad, but so expected. #HarryandMeghan #MeghanIsTheProblem

@PastisAlaska @FreddyLA7 An American can totally do that, if you stay at your job you can have 4 weeks, plus do some WFH along the way. At least once for a big thing like this. Many don't stay at their jobs because in the US there are always bigger opportunities.

So long, America🫡🇺🇸 49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us. This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped we’d get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now we’re flying home with friends all across the USA. Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country we’ve ever visited. So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isn’t nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome! I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly: “If you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.” Thank you, America ❤️🇺🇸

It's only "dystopian" for OpenAI and Anthropic shareholders. For the rest of us, the dystopia would be a world where the only AI models we can use are those from closed-source US labs that are increasingly part and parcel of the US security state.
The Wall Street Journal@WSJ

OpenAI and Anthropic executives are sounding the alarm about the rise of cheap AI, particularly powerful new models produced in China, suggesting they will lead to a “dystopian” AI future and present unacceptable security risks without regulation. on.wsj.com/4ft5XBt

French superstar Kylian Mbappé in a recent interview was asked if he feels bad for Lionel Messi after Argentina’s loss to Spain in the World Cup final. “First off, I respect Leo, He’s a legend of the game, no doubt about that. But to be honest… I don’t like him and I don’t like the Argentine team. I don’t feel bad for him at all. I’m even happy they lost the final to Spain.” When he was asked about the 2022 world cup match against Argentina Mbappe continued: “Back in 2022, the referee was clearly in favor of the Argentina team. That VAR goal they awarded was clearly offside. They’ve been rigging the World Cup since the days of Maradona till now, so no I don’t feel bad for him at all.”

There's an absurd anti-Argentina misinformation campaign that's been running at full steam on the media. Here is the perfect example. The media claims the Argentina team turned its back to Spain as a sign of disprespect. This is false. The team was in tears looking towards Argentina's core supporters section, where the fans were singing to honor them. They were all mourning. I was there, and can share videos of the moment. Besides, there's no requirement nor tradition stating the losing team must stay on the pitch to watch the winners' trophy celebration. This is nonsensical. Losing teams don't do that.

Terrifyingly accurate article for people who can read, but unfortunately, the haters don't have time to read all that. The main reason Messi is vilified late in his career is because it gets attention. And in the 21st century, attention = money. Somewhere along the line, engagement farmers picked up that crucifixion of Messi gets them more likes than treating him like a legend. Cause when everyone appreciates the same person the same way, it gets boring. So some introduce hot takes, which becomes negative hot takes quickly and then boom, the whole world falls for the trap.
