During the overnight, approximately 6-inches of snow fell across the city. Crews have been scraping and salting Ice routes, and this morning they began a full plow. Crews will stay on the roads until all residential areas have been plowed. Please drive carefully, Thank you!

Heavy wet snow began this evening and is expected to continue through the overnight. Streets crews have been scraping the main arterials and salting hills as needed. Crews will be out on the overnight as well. If you have to travel tonight, drive carefully and stay safe!

Streets crews are on the roads - salting the ice routes and sanding secondary routes, then the entire city will be sanded today. Roads, sidewalks, and parking lots are ice covered and slick, if you must go out, please drive and walk with caution. EauClaireWI.gov/SIControl

A 2nd residential plow is underway. Depending on snow amounts and conditions, a 3rd may take place tomorrow. Once residential plowing is complete, ice routes will be treated/residential streets sanded. Thanks for your patience we work to clear our 350+ miles of city streets!

Streets Crews have been joined by additional staff from other City divisions to help in a full residential plow, currently underway. Snow is expected to start again early this afternoon and continue through the night. A 2nd full residential plow is planned for tomorrow morning.
