Trinity--at the original location--is often mentioned and sometimes visited in The Possession Chronicles. So many great, historic buildings to use around Mobile while plotting my historical fiction.

Trinity Episcopal Church was completed in 1857 at the corner of St Anthony & Jackson St. It was moved, yes THE ENTIRE CHURCH, in 1945 to Dauphin St across from Rickarby Place. The original location is currently the home of the Order of Myths Flambeaux Hall. 1st photo is 1897

Bel Air Mall is a long way from Bel Air the Los Angeles neighborhood so why the name? It’s a shortening of the intersection Beltline & Airport.

The NW corner of Conti and Franklin streets in 1937 on the left and present day on the right. You can see the rear of the Cathedral in the background. In 1937 it was a diner called The Wooden Shoe and prior to that Shaw Electric Company.

McGill Institute (now McGill Toolen High School) on Government St across from the Admiral Semmes. The school was there till 1952. The second & third photo is all that remains of the original building. It became the Admiral Semmes Motor Hotel and is now a parking lot.

This is revolting. I was shocked with how quickly ppl were willing to forget the details of the previous incidents - bruises & lashes lasting for days. On a 4 YEAR OLD. Worse, ppl who excused it b/c they, themselves, had experienced physical punishment. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/11/21/adr…

@AlexHortonTX @ChrisCuomo So do they just kneel forever? ‘Cause we are always going to have problems. So the nation isn’t worth respecting b/c it isn’t perfect?

@dustincary @ESPNBooger @MariaTaylor7 Excuses for him from the faithful are both expected but unfortunate. Success doesn’t excuse rudeness. He (at times) seems to enjoy diminishing the media at weekly pressers and many including me chuckle at times. Whether it’s Maria Taylor or a cub reporter in T-Town it’s wrong.

That said, Nicks great accomplishments diminish somewhat with boorish behavior to perfectly legitimate questions asked with proper tone. Just looked at the interview. @MariaTaylor7 was exemplary last night and Nick made himself look small. No reporter deserves that treatment.

@ChrisCuomo But Chris you only care about facts when it is politically correct. If a fact isnt politically correct you just ignore it.

@ChrisCuomo Uyger has written that women are genetically inferior to men. You want praise from him? I guess so long as he subscribes to your political views
