For the first time, the National Civics Bee is coming to Minnesota. The @MetroNorthChamb is one of two state hosts. It competition challenges middle school students to test their knowledge of government and citizenship,and it comes with a top prize of $100,000 for college.

This week, @SenatorPattyKim recognized Hershey Middle Schooler Millicent Godoy for winning the Pennsylvania State Finals of the National Civics Bee at Penn State University’s HUB-Robeson Center. She will now be competing in the National Civics Bee in Washington, D.C.
