The Damascus regime claims the women in al-Hol are not responsible for their ISIS husbands’ crimes, while al-Julani loyalists demand their release. Dozens escaped on the first day the Syrian Arab Army took control of the camp.

To stop Turkey's bombing and killing of Kurdish civilians and Kurdish fighters from the air, the Kurds in Syria need a no-fly zone.

It is absolutely critical to enforce a no-fly zone over North East Syria without delay.

The Qatari @AlJazeera channel plays a malicious role by fabricating false news that would distort the image of the DAANES and the SDF, aiming to sow discord among the Syrian population. Its tactics appear to align closely with those of the Turkish media.

While MSM ignores the fact that Kurds have already set up a multi-ethnic true democracy in the northern third of Syria (now imperiled by Turkey's Erdogan) @MattBroomfield1 has written a must-read explainer. Read it & support Rojava at this critical time.

Manbij stood as a manifestation of self-rule — 8 years of democratic confederalism where diversity thrived and women, once chained by patriarchy, became revolutionaries in their own right.
But now, brute force has shattered that dream. Turkish state terror, draped in the language of ‘security,’ marches with its SNA mercenaries — recycled ISIS foot soldiers now wearing a new flag. Women who once walked free are forced back into veils, their voices silenced by Sharia law. The world calls this ‘liberation.’ The true oppressors are crowned as revolutionaries, while the women who bled for freedom are branded as tyrants.
Yes, there were protests in Manbij, Deir Ezzor, and Raqqa. But do not be deceived. These were not protests against Kurdish rule — there was no Kurdish rule. These were cities of self-rule, governed by their own people. Those protests were an attack on the very soul of the women’s revolution. Staged, choreographed, and tellingly, not a single woman stood among them.
This is not revolution. It is reaction. And the price of our silence will be paid in chains.
