Absolutely sickening. Imagine doing this to any vulnerable elderly person in a care home but to do it because of their sexuality is disgusting. How on earth do you get this hateful & be allowed near vulnerable people?

One thing I was surprised by, but now get, when my son started reception was that they wanted the kids to play in the class garden - hitting things, hammering, digging etc. I asked why & it's all about developing arm strength & motor control they need in order to write. Genius!

Pain under better control today so got in a baking session with my little chef. I hope there will be more to come but if this is the last time I'm able to do it I'm so proud of 3yo for having the patience to bake & take enjoyment from it. He does the weighing, mixing, everything

Damn I had been thinking of writing to my cllrs about putting a 20 limit on my road. There are kids playing & it's v. narrow, parked cars make passing impossible. I can't see a way to drive safely that isn't doing <20 but everyday I see some nutter bomb down faster than 30.

@dannybster Thought you'd never ask 😋! Had the best hot dog I've had in years - smothered in cheese sauce, onions, jalapeno and crispy bacon. Really hit the spot although I suffered for it and I'm going to need a couple of detox days now! Worth it though

@CkwMartin I've not read any of his stuff. I'm doing my best to get into Infomocracy. From what I've read, it's fantastic, but I keep letting myself get too busy. It's an exciting sci-fi look at where politics/capitalism could go. How's the food journey coming along?

@dannybster I think I'll need to take it day by day with food but I've been eating jasmine rice with Lap Cheong - tasty but simple so I can always manage it. I'm a big fan of Iain Banks, especially his scifi. In fact most scifi & fantasy tick my boxes - recommendations get niche quickly!

@AllanBriddock Me & my friend talked about this when we saw a teenage lesbian couple out on a date. We left school in 2003. He came out to me that summer, the first of about ten from my year. We were saying it's a huge change that kids feel safe to come out now. Just hope that stays true.

Lesson from Uxbridge isn't that @SadiqKhan is wrong on ULEZ. It's that Kier Starmers labour is so bereft of policies & hope that if the Tories give voters any excuse to feel conflicted about lab - they stay at home (politically and literally) to the extent that poll leads halve.
