@Slough_Times @sloughobserver The building that is referred to is not the building for which this account is made! Our building next to the station is still unsafe ! Not remediated! Please do not cause confusion ! We are still 3 buildings and leaseholders are expected to pay ££££ to remediate ourself !

Any other German people who have been caught up in the #BuildingSafetyCrisis, living in flammable flats & threatened with bankruptcy? I am thinking about contacting the German embassy and lobbying the German government to put pressure on the UK government to sort out their mess.

Black people must be so exhausted. This shit never lets up. Never. I have the ‘privilege’ to switch off and I’m tired. #racistengland

@SarcyMoo It’s not just black people who are exhausted ;mostly if not every person of colour would already have heard “TO GO BACK HOME”. This is my home, I love this country and I pay taxes in this country that I call HOME - there’s no where to go back to! #stopracisimenoughisenough

@MrCladding Ya today was the day, and I found out I did everything wrong in my life started working with 16 and bought my first home with 27. Wish I would have dropped out of school at 16 and on benefits with 27, at least I would not be bankrupt and living in a remediated safe home

#TodayistheDay - I will know if me and my family will become homeless. I will know if I will be made bankrupt. I will know if my life is over.

End Our Cladding Scandal

Today is the day that the Fire Safety Bill is back in the House of Commons. For the last 3.5 years we've been waiting for the government to do the right thing. Today, it's down to our MPs. We hope, with all our hearts, that they will vote to support us. #EndOurCladdingScandal

@LiamSpender Still doesn’t help leaseholders who are trapped , hopeless and have no way out. I don’t have the time to wait for politicians to make their mind up. My neighbours and myself don’t know where to get the money’s required from. So bankruptcy it is..

91/ It will be interesting to look at voting record. There is obviously a sizeable rebellion or abstention here. Gov't vote was way down on what would have been expected, showing depth of feeling from inside Conservative party on this.

#FireSafetyBill THREAD We're approaching the end of the debate on the Trade Bill. The debate has concerned what steps Parliament should take to avoid entering into trade deals with countries with poor human rights records. After a vote Commons will move on to the Fire Safety Bill

Reminder: do not vote for Shaun. He is not on the side of the people. He’s on the side of private companies because he is backed by Tory donors in the construction and development industry. The very same that are the reason you have to pay for WW insurance hikes and much more

After the year we’ve had, London needs a plan for recovery. Taxing builders will not help. London needs more homes, and this new tax will stop them being built. London needs to be open for business. thetimes.co.uk/article/london…

Thank you @NiallChristie1 @BigIssue. We wait with bated breath to see if #TodayistheDay that our elected representatives will vote for us, the victims, or for the powerful construction industry that was responsible for the #BuildingSafetyCrisis. #FireSafetyBill

63/ @ShabanaMahmood says the issue before the house is simple: should leaseholders be forced to pay for issues not of their own making? All of costs attributable to cladding scandal are down to failures of developers and successive governments, not to leaseholders.

Really important vote in the House of Commons later on today on the Bishop of St Albans’ amendment to protect leaseholders from having to pay to fix dangerous cladding. @LeedsCladding @ukcag @LKPleasehold

MP after MP making the clear case that asking leaseholders to pay for fire safety defects that are not their fault and are not affordable is morally, politically and legally indefensible - let’s hope the Government listen this time #FireSafetyBill
