#JoburgUpdates #RandburgSDC Houtkoppen: Power has been restored. Waterford: Power has been restored. Windsor: Testing has failed and the contractor is relooking the issue and are almost done. Our operators are on route to site to restore. Northriding: Upon testing we found that termination and jointing failed the necessary tests. At 15:30, they arrived on-site and but the cables failed final tests. A team has been requested to investigate. Further details will be confirmed in later updates.

Operators are on site running a fault. New information will be communicated. 2️⃣Northriding Substation (Tourmaline Distributor) affecting Sundowner and Randpark Ridge, and surrounding on block 8. Repairs are complete, and power restorations will commence. ETR 04h00 if all goes according to plan. 3️⃣Northriding Substation (Boundary 475 Distributor) affecting parts of Northriding AH and Kya Sand, Repairs are still in progress, and power should be restored by 04h00 if all goes according to plan.

Please switch off non essential appliances and geysers at the DB board to lower the inrush current to avoid overload trips when power is restored. Please wait at least 15 minutes before using appliances once power is restored.
