There are some kind of subtleties around the subject which I don't fully understand. I think if you analyse a bunch of random genes it's true that a half-black child is less closely related to its father than a random child of his own race. The problem is we don't care about all genes equally, and in practice the child may very well obviously resemble his father more than a random child. A subjective element enters into it. If we cared about all genes equally, we'd disregard differences between races since they're due to a tiny minority of genes.
