We’ll agree to disagree there. Cutting out mid season is not something people covering a beat do. Maybe he isn’t required to be at road series, which is fair. However, there is plenty to talk about 🦅⚾️ over the airwaves that doesn’t require Masters or vacation non-sequiturs.

@duckmyeaglesick During the precipice of a postseason run starting for the only team you cover with national attention. Yeah, I would think a hungry writer would be present for that, instead of idk California as SBC play comes down the stretch. Late June/July/Aug plenty of time to vacation.🤷‍♂️

@FletcherWes @Riggeaux Sure, but I’d argue there is no team in Montgomery either based off Troy’s attendance. If everything else is not gonna be serious, put it in a ballyard that seriously attracts, all season.. and that’s in Pensacola. Wahoos rake in attendance #’s because of destination.

@ClancyJon @Riggeaux No Florida team in SBC, but Pensacola would be a great late May destination/vacation spot. Need to have two broadcasters from SBC schools, they would be much more knowledgeable of the players, get serious about the production of the tournament on TV in 2027.

Had the Big-@Riggeaux asked me this question. 1.) Biloxi/Pensacola 2.)Actual SBC affiliated PxP guys. 3.) Cameras aligned w/plate. 4.) An actual production around the product on TV. 5.) Knock it down to 8 teams, double elimination. 6.) Adjust tie breakers that determine seeding.

Amazes me how a dormant base pad can circle through this many emotions. That thing was never in doubt last night. Our hitting the last 3 weeks against the bottom 1/4 of league had us primed last night. It was up to us to take our BBs/HBPs & patiently scratch runs. And we did.

5.) I think if it was knocked down to 8 teams more cream could rise to top. RPI m/u’s would be better & L’s not so costly. The top 8 teams could serve to push 1 maybe 2 teams off the bubble & into the field annually IF the single elimination winner wasn’t a landmine waiting. …
