Thanks to everybody who joined us to speak with residents in Clapham Town today. We had hundreds of conversations on the doorstep and Venn Street Market, with lots of praise for our hardworking local Labour councillors! 🌹☀️

This is a cowardly attack on the Jewish community. I am in close contact with the police who are stepping up patrols in the area, and I urge anyone with information to come forward. Londoners will never be cowed by this kind of hatred and intimidation.

Fantastic responses on the doors in Clapham Town this afternoon. Lots of voters backing @LambethLabour’s plan to tackle fly-tipping, provide free gym and swim access to under 16s and introduce compulsory e-bike parking bays 🌹

🚌 NEW SUPERLOOP BUS! TfL has confirmed a new Superloop route along the South Circular, connecting Clapham Junction, Clapham South, Streatham, Brixton Hill, Tulse Hill, West Dulwich and Eltham. A key pledge in our 2022 manifesto & great to see the @MayorofLondon backing it!

I’m proud of our tolerant and diverse country. I’m proud that in Trafalgar Square we celebrate all faiths. That’s British values. The comments from Nick Timothy are shameful. Kemi Badenoch should do the right thing and sack him.

Christians, Jews, Sikhs and Hindus have all prayed in Trafalgar Square. Nick Timothy singled out Muslims, then had the brass neck today to sit on the front bench. He should be sacked. The Tories are following Reform into the gutter. Neither are fit to govern.

🏊‍♂️FREE SWIM AND GYM FOR UNDER-16s IN LABOUR-RUN LAMBETH🤸‍♂️ Building on our popular free swimming for U-11s, we will expand free swim and gym access to all U-16s in Lambeth if re-elected in May. Helping young people stay healthy and fit and not costing parents a penny extra.

This week something rare happens - the start of Lent and Ramadan coincide. For both Christians and Muslims, it’s a time of fasting, prayer and renewal. While some may choose to focus on our differences, in London we’ll be united by our desire to deepen our connections with what matters most. Wishing peace and blessings to everyone observing Lent and Ramadan this year, all over the world.
