Mike Francesa tells us that Zuby Ejiofor transferred from Kansas to St. John's because he didn't want to sit behind Joel Embiid any longer.
Embiid's last game with Kansas was in March, 2014 when Zuby was nine years old. Not to mention that Embiid only spent one year in college.

@THEEIowaStateU @AfterDarkCF Read this slowly. It’s not about proximity for us. There’s no place that is good for everyone based on proximity. It’s about what has the most drawing power and other things to do. Kansas City does not even remotely have as much as Vegas. And that isn’t up for debate.

If you can tell Otz to play Nelson more that would be great...
Right now the only guy on the team that poses any driving threat is Jefferson and he turns it over 60% of the time. Teams are just playing up the line on Momcilovic and not letting him get easy shots... Nelson poses a driving threat and can draw fouls near the rim.. If that can collapse the defense better and keep them on their heels Momcilovic, Batemon, and Lipsey will have more open shots.

I didn't talk about the following stat last night on postgame.
Iowa State had 15 offensive rebounds in that game and only got five second chance points.
I'm not sure how that is even possible.

Really disappointing end to the half for Iowa State.

@ClarkGrell37 @ChrisMWilliams Man of you can't see they are missing some calls you're blind. It's not the only reason obviously but it's certainly a factor. Just watch off the ball what they're doing to him. That's not basketball. It's a mugging.

Iowa State's energy just hasn't been there defensively the last five minutes or so. They came out of the break like a bat out of hell. Perhaps they will finish that way?

I wasn't sure which direction the girls' polling would go, and there were several great players that didn't even make the finals. Still, a great 1990s team here.
