Hey inorganic chemists, Need help. When one uses the word "framework", does it refer to the entire molecular structure, or for the core structure only? Say for Ru4H4(CO)12 carbonyl cluster. Does "framework" refer to the Ru4H4(CO)12 cluster + ligand or the Ru4 core?
