The sitting president of the United States just sat behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office of the White House and referred to the Governor of California as the President of the United States. Can the media start reporting on his deteriorating mental state now or nah?

It is simultaneously disturbing and not at all surprising that the president of the United States can, in his private capacity, sue the federal government, which he is also the head of, and then direct how that lawsuit is pursued. That essentially guarantees the Treasury gets drained for $10 billion in taxpayer money going directly to Trump. And since the Supreme Court, in its infinite wisdom, decided that when a president makes a decision in his official capacity he has immunity, you can see how nefarious this really is. The president can sue the government, then tell the government to settle the case for the amount in the lawsuit. And even if that behavior is clearly nefarious, criminal, or fraudulent, he is immune. Our system of government was broken by the Supreme Court again. The first time was Citizens United.
