The Sumud Flotilla set off from Barcelona in Spain in support of the Gaza Strip and in an attempt to break the blockade. Around 5,000 activists from more than 70 nationalities around the world are taking part, alongside a large medical convoy that includes nearly 1,000 healthcare and humanitarian workers, in a step that reflects the growing international solidarity with Gaza.
