Just voted. Line was mediocre but moved fast. A lot of old people in the line and checking in is electronic now but ballots were still paper. They had a table set up for people with absentee ballots to drop off. They should eliminate those. If you can drop it off on voting day at the polling station there is no reason why you can’t do inperson voting.

This woman went out to eat, she was handed a menu by the server and proceeded with her order. After she ate the server brought her the bill and the prices on the bill were much higher than what’s on the menu. The woman confronts the server, the server claims it’s an old menu and that they had to update their prices and refuses to honor the prices on the menu. Could this just be a mistake and an older menu was given, should the old prices be honored if that’s what was given to her originally?

The 1972 Men's Basketball Final between US vs USSR, the US clearly won the game but the final three seconds was replayed three times due to questionable rule interpretations, and eventually the USSR won on the fourth time despite that the US clearly won and was being slapped by refball. To this day that US team has refused to accept the silver medals when they rightfully deserved that gold, and some players even went as far as ensuring their heirs could not accept them. The appeal to the game's results wasn't successful either in a 3-2 no vote that aligned with political stances at the time, with each member having voted to their political alliance.

If you don't respect the silver medal, you don't deserve the gold medal 🏅💯
