Small businesses deserve to be more than an afterthought. Green Party Leader Elizabeth May has reintroduced her “Think Small First” bill to make sure every new federal law and regulation considers the impact on Canadian small businesses first.

These astronauts are just a balm: impossibly cheery, down to earth, committed, decent. They are clearly extraordinary people, and yet reassuringly normal. At a time when the news is dominated by people who are either cruel or corrupt or insane or incompetent or all of the above, they remind us not all is lost.

The Green Party is vowing to challenge their removal from the debates. The Leaders’ Debates a commission removed the Greens for failing to meet participation requirements. “Here’s what they forget: when they bulldoze, when they pave, Green always grows,” Pedneault said.
