XL had actually heard (indirectly) HC using the term in the "my wife" line to refer to him, but he never connected the dots!
Also, HC literally told people XL was his benefactor.

Have you noticed MXTX's desktop filenames? 👀 (EN translation added) A lot of the #TGCF revised edition new content was already there by 2019.02.04.

there's this very nice, respectful, and insightful post on weibo about many of the translation errors made in mdzs. it was made with so much detail and it's so infuriating to see not only how little care went into seven seas' translation but also how some of these very clearly

There's another popular XHS post talking about Hualian's height and body difference. 🥹
They also pointed out how even though the official heights indicate a 12 cm difference - the way MXTX wrote them especially in the revised, it's as if XL is about HC's shoulder height 🥹

The new SVSSS extra in the upcoming CN edition is called 回归记 (Story of the Return), and it's 20k char long. At 40+ pages it's shorter than the airplane one but considerably longer than all the rest. Can't wait till the books are actually out! 😍
