@svpino That's okay for side projects and prototypes. That's not okay for production-level projects.

Vibe-coders don't give a shit about code. They don't understand it, they don't touch it, and they will never have to deal with it. They care about bringing their ideas to life and nothing else. They are 100% unburden by what many of us consider a showstopper. And that's okay. There's an important lesson here.

Once upon a time, a supervisor kept calling me the wrong name on purpose: suZIN (Susan) instead of suzANNE (my name). No matter how many times I corrected him, he refused to call me the correct name, saying it’s the same name. So I started calling him a variation of his name. He said that wasn’t his name, I said it’s a nickname of his name and therefore more correct than what he called me. So I kept on. It quickly annoyed him enough that he started calling me by my correct name. So I started calling him his name. But I also encouraged everyone else in the division to start calling him the wrong name, and to keep doing so. His new name stuck. After that he always shot me dirty looks. I always winked and smiled. 😘💅🏼

People let their pets sleep in bed with them because they feel bad kicking the animal out but put their tiny infants to bed in a separate room to cry themselves to sleep because “co-sleeping is dangerous.” That’s genuinely weird.

Put one on her today, thought it felt harder to pull all the way up, so I checked. Girl training pant is skinnier by more than half an inch.

Last year, I met a person who has never written a single line of code in his life, yet he feels he can build anything he wants.
