Anyone can claim anything in a court filing. It doesn't make it true. Based on the article, the filing claims that the bullet was supposedly unidentifiable. Even if that's the case, it doesn't prove that it wasn't from Tyler's gun. It's just his attorneys attempting to create doubt that it's not necessarily 100% him.

This proves absolutely nothing, but retarded conspiracy theorists/those with a desire to try destroying the Kirk family even more will make a big deal out of this and attempt to use it as proof of their retarded claims. Obviously Tyler's attorneys will file for anything to claim that he is innocent. Any attorney that doesn't try to file and make claims that their client is innocent would probably get fired right away and is terrible at their job.
