CLEIR STUDIO — Umbriel & Ariel High Jewelry Earrings These new artistic high jewelry earrings, though quite simple and minimalist in design, say a lot. Their setting makes them look exceptionally rare and sophisticated when worn—something you won’t see in any other pearl and diamond pieces We selected both in white shades because these Grade A Emirati baroque sea pearls and D-color, SI1 clarity drop diamonds of 0.7 carats each reveal colorful reflections from deep within—soft greens, pinks, greys, and blues among others—giving them a refreshing, unique, contrasting yet subtle appearance. All set in 18k solid white gold. Their push-back closures are also enhanced with a new Signature design we recently created for our emerging fine jewelry brand: CLEIR STUDIO, for better performance and a comfortable fit We have named these pieces Umbriel & Ariel, inspired by two of Uranus’s moons. Umbriel, the dark ancient one with its bright, luminous ‘Fluorescent Cheerio’ ring-shaped crater, and Ariel, the brightest of all, showing signs of significant past geological activity These two moons, to which we dedicate these earrings, represent what we’re curious to know more about, at the very edge of the Solar System, where we know so little. We can only imagine what it would be like to step on Uranus or one of its moons and discover what lies in the depths of the unknown Each element, hand-picked by us, has its own individual certificate of authenticity, and the finished pieces themselves come with a certificate of authenticity from a prestigious gem laboratory. Umbriel & Ariel Uranus’ Contrasting Moons – Inspiration for CLEIR STUDIO Umbriel: The Dark, Ancient “Fluorescent Cheerio” Moon Umbriel is Uranus’s darkest major moon, reflecting only about 16% of sunlight (very low albedo). Its heavily cratered, ancient surface shows almost no geological activity, suggesting it has remained largely unchanged for billions of years — a silent, charcoal-gray witness to the Solar System’s early history Its most captivating mystery is the “Fluorescent Cheerio” — a bright, luminous ring roughly 90 miles (140 km) across inside Wunda crater, near the equator. This glowing feature stands out dramatically against the dark terrain. Scientists still debate its origin: exposed bright ice or CO₂ frost, impact-related deposits, or another unknown process Umbriel is nearly identical in size to Ariel (≈ 1,170 km / 727 miles in diameter). It is composed of water ice mixed with rock and dark carbonaceous material (likely tholins). Subsurface models suggest it may harbor a thin liquid ocean tens of kilometers deep, sustained by residual radiogenic heat ——- Ariel: The Bright, Geologically Active Companion Ariel shines as the brightest of Uranus’s major moons. Its surface features dramatic deep canyons and fault valleys (some up to 6 miles / 10 km deep), broad icy flows, and intersecting ridges — evidence of significant past tectonic activity and possible cryovolcanism (ice volcanism) With relatively few large craters, Ariel’s surface appears much younger than Umbriel’s, hinting at more recent resurfacing. It is considered one of the strongest candidates for a past or present subsurface ocean (potentially over 100 miles / 170 km deep at times), with its trenches possibly exposing material from the interior

This spectacular marble group was his first major commission, made for Francesco de’ Medici. In it, he achieved his ambition to create a dynamic two-figure group in movement, designed with several different viewpoints. Saint Justina of Padua was a young Christian virgin and noblewoman who was martyred in Padua for refusing to sacrifice to the Roman god Mars (the god of war, after whom the planet was later named). She is one of the patron saints of Padua Mars, the Roman god of war, embodied military power, courage, and the fury of battle, but unlike the chaotic Greek Ares, he was highly revered as a protector who used war to secure lasting peace (Pax Romana). He was also an ancient guardian of agriculture and fertility, seen as a father (pater) of the Roman people and a foundational deity linked to Rome’s origins (as father of Romulus and Remus) In Saint Justina’s story, refusing to sacrifice to him meant rejecting pagan Roman authority and its state religion The piece is a beautiful example of early Renaissance sculpture in Padua, blending classical Roman reuse with innovative Christian iconography and Donatello-inspired techniques Photographs by me, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England. Continuing with my previous thread, now I present our latest gems—and one of my favorite pearls on Earth. This time: Emirati Baroque Sea Pearls, grade C, 9.5 mm. But nothing less than grade A The only major difference I see is that these grew more freely into the beautiful randomness of baroque shapes, which for me makes them stand out with exceptional rarity. Their luster, beauty, softness, and color hues are pretty much the same, if not identical, to grade A Actually, I consider these my best selection yet, because they give me the freedom and flexibility to create something more daring and bold. So let’s see what the future holds for these four ,, as they become one @CleirAtelier
