Meredith from *Maze to Metanoia* just shared an interview we did on her amazing Substack. She asked great questions, and I did my best to answer 'em. — The Owl, the Door, and the Infinite Vastness open.substack.com/pub/mazetometa…

@UFO_Rabbit_Hole You share your fears clearly and beautifully. I struggle too, and have worked hard to share my feelings about all this. But, there are a LOT of people who CANNOT say what you and I are saying. We are speaking for them, and this, for me, is an important responsibility.

Four years ago today, The UFO Rabbit Hole launched, and I had no idea how much it would change me. What started as an attempt to make rational sense of something impossible became a slow, often painful unraveling of who I thought I was. Over these last four years I’ve learned that I can’t stay at a safe, cerebral distance forever. I can’t keep pretending I’m just a commentator on the phenomenon. I’m in it. It happened to me. And it reshaped my entire life in ways I’m still learning to accept. Doing this work forced me to confront the parts of myself that were terrified of being seen as “crazy,” or too earnest, or too vulnerable. It asked me to step out from behind the intellectual armor and actually live into my experience—not just analyze it. And I could not have done any of this alone. The friendships I’ve made through this work have been extraordinary, and in many respects, paranormal in their own right. The guidance, the late-night conversations, the shared bewilderment, the impossible synchronicities—every bit of it carried me through the hardest parts. Most especially I am grateful for @JayCKing78 who has been beside me through every twist in this story. Our friendship has changed me as much as any encounter with anomalous ever has. But there have been so many others—more than I could ever name. But a special shout out to @0mega_Point, @jordanflowers, @JDMadden3, @CourtneyLeffall, @ClellandMike, and @TomEMatte for playing a special role in the evolution of the last few years. As we move into the next chapter with Cosmosis, I want my work to become less about distance and more about presence. Less about explaining the phenomenon, and more about showing what it does to a life. To my life. Thank you for being here. We're four years in, but somehow this still feels like it's just the beginning.

@jungianLaura @murraywsteinII There was a wonderfully strange four-part documentary about Jung's library, and his collection of alchemical books. Much of the visual language of the film consist of close ups of pages of those books—and the weird symbolic illustrations. Murray Stein is the film.

My latest interview, where we explore her recent essay, Unfurling the Myth. This is an exploration into the deepest mystery, and why it seems to present itself as myth—with transformation as its inevitable outcome. open.spotify.com/episode/1Ta0OP…

youtu.be/5vaPN1HzfDI?si… This video begins with my 20-minute talk on owls and contact.  I made one mistake, and it shows up at the 8:22 time-count. I said: “About a half hour later, he sees this.” It should have been, “About a half mile later, he sees this.”
