大好きな「インフィニット・ダークネス」に関してのインタビュー記事を見つけた。気になったのが下の方。「この時代のレオンのキャラクターなら、こういう話が書けますよ」との答え。本当に 公式の制作をしている人は、慎重に慎重に 話を作っているんだなと思った。「ダムネーション」で、レオンとエイダの恋愛話をやろう、という案も「ゲームに影響が出るような話にはしない方がいい」とその案がなくなり、うろ覚えだけど「ヴェンデッタ」の製作で、レオンの子供の頃の話を入れようとしたけれども、特定のイメージがついてしまうと良くないということで、その案がなくなった、と聞いた。映像作品を作る時は、後々 ゲームに影響が出ないように、本当にキャラクター設定や時系列、後々の影響 まで考えて大切に作ってるんだなと思った。ということは、レオンの指輪のことは、そうそう 明らかにならないだろうな。#バイオハザード　#レオンケネディ

I agree with the idea that even without the bioterror, Leon and Claire were destined to meet at the R.P.D. They would've fallen in love, and this RE2R fence scene would probably be Claire visiting her boyfriend Leon while he’s working the night shift.

Capcom staff telling Nick to plead like this because the relationship Leon built up in his head for a few hours isn't real, but a lie make's the remake's true ending even better. Leon knows the truth and embraces an real bond with Sherry/Claire walking down a path hand in hand.

Nobody asked, but here’s a thread on why Leon S. Kennedy is NOT a morally grey character, because I love Leon and hate seeing him constantly mischaracterized 🤷🏻‍♂️ Most of this is based on personal observation, though there’s one important thing to note first: Capcom themselves have never associated Leon with the “morally grey” category. He’s much closer to a Cinematic Hero archetype, especially in contrast to Chris’s more “Epic Hero” status. Anyways, buckle up and here we go 🔥
