This 1x AS came up in a huge pinch hit situation where he was put in for an aging A-Rod, hitting homers in two consecutive at bats, the latter being a walk off in the 12th. He became the 1st player to hit two HRs in a post season game he did not start, the 1st to hit 2 HRs in the 9th inning or later in a post season game & the oldest to hit a post season walk off HR. A power boat with three Cleveland Indians pitchers on a nighttime ride in Clermont, Florida slammed into an unlit dock, killing Tim Crews and Steve Olin, and severly injuring Bob Ojeda.
