@firelindy886 So the goaltending and defense are both slightly worse and they've added a couple depth forwards who were the odd men out from another team. I think Hayton is a great move but the cap went up by $9 million. My point is if Fitz had this offseason, fans would react differently.

I'll say it out loud. Even if Hayton comes to the Devils, with all the moves the other teams in the East made, if Fitz brought this roster into next season, the fans would be meeting up at the Prudential Center to chuck Chicken Tenders at the wall.
