It looks like Disney will reopen the Tomorrowland Theater in Disneyland to guests to show a “Pixar Short Film Spotlight”. It’s not clear if it will open today or in the near future.

It’s demand-based and as the crowds are lighter than during the day, they’d rather remove trains than send them empty as it can cause its own issues. BTM/IC will usually pick the staffing up around 8:30-9 to account for full capacity.

Overlooked rope drop strategy consideration. Ride vehicle status! I learned this lesson the hard way (again) when rope dropping DCA yesterday. For the first hour, Incredicoaster runs at half capacity. Just one side of the tracks. The second loading zone is not in operation until 9 am. This effectively doubles your expected wait time. Same thing happens at Big Thunder Mountain, Storybook Land, and Autopia (ONE lane only!)

Frontier Airlines A321, Flight 4345, struck and killed a pedestrian on DEN Runway 17L last night during its takeoff roll. The person had just jumped the perimeter fence and ran onto the active runway. The individual was hit about two minutes later near the mid-field area, far from the terminal in the outer perimeter section. The crew aborted the takeoff near V1. A brief engine fire occurred due to ingestion, followed by smoke in the cabin. Everyone evacuated safely via slides, with 12 minor injuries reported. Officials say it was a deliberate trespass.
