But I draw lines at slasher horrors and stuff like Sinister (HORRIFYING), Saw, Texas Chainsaw, Smile, Friday the 13, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, etc.

Just saw The Backrooms. Extremely eerie throughout. There was a few slow spots but every moment spent in the Backrooms was glorious. Felt like anything could happen. Its very rare for me to not want a film to end. Go see it. Extremely solid.

If theres one thing I hope filmmakers learn from Backrooms, its that found footage continues to be the scariest subgenre ever. MAKE MORE LARGE BUDGET FOUND FOOTAGE FILMS!!!

i think two things can be true, that anti tech ludditism for its own sake is retarded, but also that there is a reasonable distrust in the tech world from people who see ai and data center proliferation happening beyond their control to potentially none of their benefit.
