The issue isn't about individual party membership numbers & whether one party has more members than another or publishes those numbers or not, the issue was about lying about numbers and very clearly & publicly ridiculing a journalist that reported a drop in numbers correctly.

24 years of the Scottish Parliament & we have never had such a crisis of the governing party. When Henry McLeish resigned as FM it was over £36,000 office income; Wendy Alexander resigned as Labour leader over a £950 donation. This is of a completely different scale.
