@mcuban Mark, Great question. Education and specific work experience are the key metrics that got me hired as VP of Human Resources. Education and experience are the metrics I utilize for hiring too. (To answer a commenters suggestions of asking what hiring managers measure.)

I would love to hear from everyone who is currently employed, what objective measure or metric was used to determine you were the most qualified applicant when you were hired. And of course, if you could also mention the position you were hired for, that would help. Thanks in advance !
