I have patients who are CUPE members who are chronically homeless due to poverty only because of low wages. Ford government has legislated people into staying in poverty and will fine them into further poverty for believing their hard work should lift them out of poverty.

The govt isn't giving the vaccine, skilled nurses are. We've been doing the heavy lifting 24/7 since before march. To demand that we administer vaccines 24/7 over Xmas is the last straw before we break. If you think it's important enough, do the 7pm-7am shift for 1/5 of your pay.

This morning, in our @regionofpeel isolation site, we set a personal best for swabs. 21 swabs in 30 mins. 25 patients admitted in the last 12 hours! @regionofpeel We got you! We got us!

We had 25 admissions to our Homeless Isolation site yesterday. That does not include the ones who couldn't be transported to our site because Transhelp got overloaded (full marks to them for their great work nonetheless!). PLEASE STAY HOME AND STOP THE SPREAD!
