I can relate. The care and well being of my dog weighed heavily on many decisions I have made. One example - we didn't travel to DC for J6 because we didn't want to leave him alone in a strange hotel room. We now know his humans would have been arrested, jailed and financially and emotionally broken if we had decided to attend.

In 2012, I was sleeping on a camping cot because I couldn't afford a bed. A few months earlier I had an MBA, a job at @HSBC, and a future on Wall Street. Then I saw the terrorist financing. Then I stopped sleeping. Then at 2 AM I emailed the @CIA. I walked into the @FBI building knowing my life was over. I was right. I got blacklisted from the financial industry. I went from working at a Chinese bank to waiting tables at a Chinese restaurant. @PFChangs. That was the only job I could get. On that camping cot, in the dark, I decided I didn't want to be here anymore. I had a pet rabbit. The only thought that stopped me was: who's going to feed the rabbit? That rabbit saved my life. I chose to stay. I chose to keep fighting. I chose to build something that would protect other people from what I'd just lived through. That's how @Tactical_Rabbit was born. My company is named after the animal that kept me here when nothing else could. If you're reading this and you're in your own version of 2012 — find your rabbit. The small reason. The thing that needs you tomorrow morning. Let it be enough until the bigger reasons come back. They will come back. Mine did.
