We are very sorry some customers didn’t receive their scheduled Child Benefit payments as expected and we understand the concern and difficulty this may have caused. We’ve fixed the problem and affected customers will now receive their payments on Wednesday morning (5th June).

First we were sold a product that didn’t work for us so we had to return @BTCare hub… in the addressed envelope they provided. Then they lost that, sent us 2 reminders, we gave up calling after 45 mins and then decided life is too short so we paid £50 for unreturned hub ( although we returned it) Then they lost that payment although weirdly the cash left our account, then we receive debt recovery notice… I mean Jeez…I’m expecting bailiffs any minute now!! Join up @bt you should be better!

From 6 April 2024 the main rate of National Insurance contributions for the self-employed will be reduced from 8% to 6%. Along with the abolition of Class 2 NICs announced at the Autumn Statement. This helps to grow the economy by encouraging people to work.

We’re increasing the threshold at which parents start paying the High Income Child Benefit Charge, from £50,000 to £60,000. Making almost half a million families better off by an average of almost £1300 per household.

@nicperrins This is a direct result of minimum staffing levels accompanied by rampant automation. The automation “AI” demands the info. You send it. But the human reviewers / handlers can’t process at the same speed as the automated demands.
