From A Tribe Called Quest & De La Soul to The Roots, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, his influence shaped generations. A mentor & teacher at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, Bob inspired countless artists & engineers. More than an engineer, he was a bridge between worlds blending technical mastery with soul & rhythm. His legacy echoes in every beat, every mix. Rest easy, Bob 🕊

*deep exhale* My tenure at NYU is done. These 7 weeks were so transformative. They were more than students, they were little brothers and sisters in the space of Hip Hop culture. Im going to miss them so much. With only two official mc’s when we started and ended with 8. Three were singer songwriters, one was a coder, two were media photographers/video shooters… and yet Hip Hop brung us together. The safe space between all 9 of us can’t be broken and Im going to miss them tremendously. Until next time my beautiful young people. Long, Live, Lyricism! We gonna go live on IG so yall can meet them all. Im not crying. You are. 😢
