@henrywinter Arsenal are uniquely loathed by rival fans. Even though we didn’t support City or Liverpool when they won, we could appreciate their classy football. When it comes to Arsenal, it’s all about the dark arts and attritional football. Will be the least popular winners for many years.

Top teams are loved and loathed. There is plenty to like about Arsenal - Saka, Rice, academy, resilience - but also plenty that annoys/angers rival fans. It's always been like this. Stand up for/to the champions. (And they've not even won it yet). #AFC 1/2

@henrywinter As a Utd fan our main rivals are Liverpool and Leeds but I’d rather them win than this Arsenal side Wenger side was a brilliant side who played great football this lot are like a basketball team in the penalty area and I detest basketball

@frankiecrisp1 @henrywinter Absolutely. As a Chelsea fan I say the same. Traditionally our biggest rivalry is with spurs but grudgingly respected their ethos. I despise this Arsenal side

@henrywinter I have no problem to admit the Wenger team was marvelous, Bergkamp and Henry on top, that was world class, nothing like that today, not even close. They are like the Wimbledon team, mostly dirty set-pieces

@matthewsyed I don't really buy this argument that toppling Starmer is just a media feeding frenzy or that Britain is "ungovernable." Starmer has a whopping majority: he's choosing not to govern, not being forced away from it. The local election results were a response to that inertia.

The ministers urging Starmer to go are feeding the hysteria. The next leader will be subject to instant leadership speculation and the next, and the next, whether Labour, Reform or Tory. Britain is becoming ungovernable. And the media fixation on this tittle tattle is not helping

It's certainly the best marketed league in the world, and now people are talking about it for all the wrong reasons, not the beauty but the pulling, pushing, holding , grappling etc The powers that be need to sort this out, next season I think we'll see a lot more penalties given as they need to eradicate what's happening.... thoughts ?

As an Arsenal fan, I can't lie, we've been grappling and wrestling goalkeepers all season. I can understand why West Ham and football fans in general are angry. Plus all the other fouls in that incident.. hope we still win the league but the anger is fully justified
