In July 2025, I responded to a promotion that was being run by Gray Homes Construction Company. I decided to build a small cottage and entered into an agreement with the director and CEO, Annavestah Mudiwa. We agreed that I would pay monthly instalments towards the construction of a two-bedroom cottage. I made payments until the total reached US$10,760. According to our contract, construction was supposed to begin once 70% of the agreed amount had been paid. However, in March 2026, after reaching the 70% mark, Mrs. Mudiwa informed us that fuel prices had increased and claimed that the total cost of the project would rise to US$22,000. This was a significant change from the original agreement. She also requested an extension and insisted that we continue paying instalments, even though no work had started on the ground. This did not make sense to us. We then realised that the service was poor. Whenever we tried to contact her, she would say she was in a meeting and would call back later, which she often did not do. This was very unprofessional. We decided to cancel the agreement and requested a refund. After this, Mrs. Mudiwa became rude and uncooperative. No work had been done at the site, and we have been trying to recover our money. Our lawyer sent a demand letter, but there was no response. The lawyer then visited the Gray Homes office located along Longden Avenue, Harare, Zimbabwe, only to be informed that the company had moved from that address last year. We have tried to contact Mrs. Mudiwa to provide the new address, but she has refused to share it. We are kindly asking for assistance in locating her and recovering our money. It is very painful because we worked hard and made sacrifices, only for someone to take our money and then disappear.

True intelligence comes from 3 core abilities: solving problems with clarity, adjusting with grace in any situation and making decisions that are thoughtful. When these qualities grow, so does your inner strength. Nurture them a little every day and watch the shift within you.

𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗬 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗔? It is alleged by Lynn that at the offices where Maponga works, a meeting discussing my assassination was held by his bosses because I refuse to support CAB3 and the extension of President Mnangagwa’s term. All of a sudden this morning Maponga woke up with so much to say about me. Now he wants to have a Space with Hulu in my absence. I believe that we should discuss with Maponga whether he was in the meeting and if there is an assassination plot against me or not.

Shortlisting candidates is one of the most tedious and time-consuming tasks in HR, especially if you are doing it manually without a system that can filter and rank applicants. With AI, that changes completely. Tools like Claude Cowork can review CVs, apply your shortlisting criteria, rank candidates, and generate a clear report in under five minutes. It is fast, consistent, and surprisingly accurate when set up properly. I will share a screen recording later today showing exactly how to do this step by step. If you want the video link, just say “count me in” in the comments. @ipcconsultants

This is the current state of the highly publicised Zim Cyber City project in Mount Hampden, which was officially launched in July 2022. Construction at the site was expected to begin in 2022 as part of a US$500 million development funded by a Dubai-based investor, with Paul Tungwarara involved in the project. The project was planned to be completed in phases over about three years. Some sections were expected to be ready between 2024 and 2025. The project was meant to include modern buildings such as apartments, offices, shops and hotels, forming part of a much larger new capital city plan estimated at up to US$60 billion. However, despite these plans, there is still very little to show on the ground. So far, only a few small buildings have been constructed, and most of the major structures that were promised have not yet been built.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr @araghchi reminds the world about the Strait of Hormuz. The Suez Canal in Egypt, the Panama Canal in Panama, the Bospurus in Türkiye, the St Lawrence in Canada, America all charge fees for every ship that passes through. Iran has refused to charge ships passing through Hormuz for decades, meaning it is free. Is this why Iran is called evil, terrorist, dangerous or other bad accusations???? Iran is a Republic that wants to practice Islamic values for the mercy of all nature. Iran is thinking about the needs of the world community, oil and others, which through Hormuz are not burdened so that it is free. This is an Islamic mandate that Iran consistently practices

The story does not end there. Is it fair to compare a man-made canal to a natural international strait? There is a legal reason why Iran shouldn't charge for passage. The Strait of Hormuz is a natural international strait. Under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), it is governed by "Transit Passage." Nations cannot legally charge "tolls" for ships simply passing through international straits. Iran has "refused to collect fees" for decades because, legally, they weren't allowed to.

Morning folks. Ndini uya-uya we deep thinking—ndiregerereiwo, ndozvandiri. Away from Iran-Gulf War Crisis. Is it only me? I am beginning to suspect that someone caught wind that the Chinese are not keen on a 2030 term extension, and that this may have triggered the pre-emptive and hasty ban on lithium exports. This is not new—remember, we have seen this script before. When Robert Mugabe, ahead of 2017 coup, got wind of what he believed were Chinese-backed moves against him, he lashed out, alleging that about $15 billion worth of diamonds had been stolen by the Chinese. More recently, just before the lithium export ban, the current incumbent spoke about smuggled minerals allegedly being stashed in Mozambique at the Port of Beira. Yesterday, the Chinese Embassy responded sharply with a statement warning its investors, and today you can already see indirect criticism of China from state actors here on X. This feels like an old script being dusted off and brought back onto the screen near you. Call me what you like; there is only one me! 🤪
