A man who repeatedly dumped waste at a wooded area in the Broomhill area of Port Talbot has appeared before Swansea Magistrates. His sentence involved payment of a fine, prosecution costs, clean-up costs and a victim impact surcharge totalling £1,239.51.

Following intense scrutiny from Labour members the proposed decision to raise parking charges by the rainbow coalition administration has been deferred. We have been listening to criticism and concerns raised by local councillors, Viva Port Talbot, residents and businesses.
