The real question is why do we let them get away with it, when we have a constitution designed to allow us to prevent exactly this type of thing from occuring? We don't even have to use force. We just show up en masse and demand their arrests, or arrest them ourselves. Military tribunals for everyone in Congress because they're all government and military officials. Which means hanging if guilty of treason. Prison if guilty of insider trading. I'm convinced they're all compromised.

Having money taken from your check, and added to every purchase, only to have the money that was essentially strong armed from you, be used in criminal activity, definitely doesn't put the blame on you. It puts the blame on the institution that enabled the theft of your money, and the allocation of those funds to a fictional government agency for use toward any interest that doesn't directly benefit the American people.
