It can be hard to notice at first glance if the game has some man-made art mixed in

@L0nedev @MaximumADHD that's both a positive and a negative about roblox. Roblox games are generally mediocre compared to games you'd see on steam, so well-made games stand out a lot more. Roblox would be much better (financially too) if they boosted well-made games more than slop

Roblox is so much more capable of an engine than people give it credit for, it's just buried in low effort slop that (unfortunately until recently) was the key thing being promoted by the website's algorithms. Lets hope this is a sign of things to come.

@MaximumADHD at that point they might as well invest into making a game on steam, it'll be less restrictive and they'll make like 50% more money. The only thing roblox has to offer is the fact that it's easier to advertise (for the most part), and roblox doesn't require expensive hardware

Really the main thing the platform is missing is investment from high-end studios that can produce high quality content of this caliber. The fact this is being done by two people is outstanding and I wish I had half the talent these guys have.

If you're trying to post a condo game or something, they don't allow it and you don't get refunded, so the fine being $650 makes no sense if they're just trying to protect kids

@AzasYT @Roblox_RTC it costs $1k to buy 100k robux, but 100k robux can only be converted into $350, so it's basically like paying $650 to publish a game if you want it to be successful. This basically locks new solo devs from being able to make a successful game unless they advertise insanely well

Imo biggest issue w modern day dokkan animations is that they'll give you like 3 seconds of fluidity and then everything else is so dry idk how else to explain it. I prefer the str team turles animations much more but these are okay i guess
