Thank you for being honest with us. I will also speak frankly, just like you. No matter how I look at it, there seems to be a cultural gap. It looks like you might need an extra 10 days to achieve the result you’re aiming for. So I think it would be best to release the first version on the planned date with 90% completion (even if it’s not perfect and requires some extra work), and then do a second update 10 days later when everything is 100% complete. But if splitting the release into two phases like this isn’t efficient, then instead of waiting until the last day of Q2 and then announcing that “more time is needed,” I believe it would be much better to make that announcement well in advance. The skills of the E2 team, including you, are truly outstanding and unique in the world. However, when it comes to empathy toward the community, it’s hard to say that you’ve fully succeeded. These days, just as a restaurant can’t become popular only by having good food, we no longer live in a time when skill alone is enough to win people over. Empathy — the ability to make others nod in agreement — is essential. No matter what anyone says, I know you and the E2 team are doing your best. I’m just sharing these thoughts because there are some aspects I feel could be improved.

🚨#Earth2 update 🌏✌️ First I'd like to apologise to our community for the lateness of this message. I was still considering a traditional last timezone #Q2 release but honestly we could use a little more time. As you can see in the screen recording, we've been extremely busy the past 3 months with multiple commits per day on average from our dev team & this recording is only of commits made directly to our #E2V1 repository. It does not include #BE / Server repository commits or tasks completed for custom development from our VFX, SFX, Concept Art & Animation teams or the countless other points of progressive development. While there are some in our community who would better understand what multiple daily repo commits means, the video footage just helps others to visualise how much work goes into the development of just one facet of Earth 2, and even though we may not publish a lot of public updates, we are extremely busy & focused on development & progress behind the scenes. Sometimes you lose track of time with so many different developments in progress. Excitingly for everyone, Chapter 1 is a very big release for us & includes some very important updates that will introduce the foundations for activity & experiences inside #E2V1. There are many moving parts & many new mechanisms we've had to design, develop & implement into an incredibly large, seamless, open world just to make Chapter 1 possible. We're also building a persistent world, meaning we're not just developing for a single player local PC environment, which would be much, much easier, but instead requires a lot of API & server integration for almost every feature implemented - and that doesn't even involve the multiplayer networking element which we've also made good progress on throughout #Q2. We're not implementing API & server integration only for a persistent world, but also to mitigate against hacking. I just wanted to provide this update & apologise for the lateness of this notification. Remember, we are still in a pre-alpha stage so there are inevitably going to be bugs & issues. Seeing as though we are going to miss #Q2 anyway, we could use another week or two to fix some known bugs & make it a little smoother. It won't be longer than that & even though it's not a lot of additional time in the big picture, I still said #Q2 & I apologise that we are going to overshoot that time frame. We will aim to publish an article this weekend to provide everyone with an in depth explanation behind the early access release & I think that article will help our community understand just how much work has gone into the past 3 months by our team. I guess I could have made this post short & sweet but I wanted to provide additional context so thanks for reading through. To end on a more positive note, hands on play testing has been very eye opening to possibilities & immersion #E2V1 offers. There are so many opportunities waiting & so many directions to take .. it really is very exciting. There’s much more to this than most people may think! You’re also earning essence, taking it out and getting money for it. You need to weigh up how much essence you’ve taken out, consider the negativity towards the project and so on. If there is some kind of illegal activity or against there terms, I’d be glad that you can get your daily earned essence out and continue to make essence daily for owning property. You haven’t got fiat stored in earth2, you have tokens that you could transfer for essence subject to you breaking the Terms or not. Transferring tokens for fiat is the old and it seems only subject if earth2 want to buy the E$ tokens back off you, but due to #essence coming out, it only seems the can either have E$ tokens to Fiat if they didn’t have Essence due to regulations. Yes, they had E$ when they didn’t have Essence in Crypto, but they can only have one or the other. You’ve been anticipating in a negative group and continued your rant for some time now, you’d be best taking this private as continuing to do what you’re doing is likely not going to help your course and you shouldn’t try to pressurise a business into paying you if you’re not entitled to it. There was once easy money to make, many got away with this and you missed the mark as it seems.

I can’t even begin to describe how heartbreaking this is for me. I have stood by @Earth2io since day one, giving my time, my passion, and my trust for four years as a MOD, working tirelessly to support this project and the community because I truly believed in it! And now, after all of that, the very company I defended is indirect villainizing me, refusing to even show a shred of proof for their claims, while keeping over $20,000 of my money without explanation…… How is this okay? How is this fair???? If they can do this to someone who gave so much, what does that mean for anyone else in this community? I don’t care how much we all love Earth2! No one should have to live in fear that their money could be taken from them at any moment, with no reason, no proof, and no recourse! If Earth2 has a real reason to block my withdrawal, then they should prove it! Plain and simple! If they can do this to me, they can do it to anyone. This isn’t just about me! It’s about all of us who put time, money and love into this! Ask yourselves, what would you do in my position? Honestly… It’s me VS a huge company just ignoring me while indirectly turning the entire community against me with subtile messages in regards to my situation! Don’t everyone see how this is wrong and how it can be abused! If we accept this as normal, then what happens when it’s your turn? This isn’t just hurting me personally… it’s hurting the entire community and the future of Earth2 itself! We all deserve better than this! Thank you so much 😭❤️ I really don’t know what to do and I’m being treated like some sort of villain, even by old friends…. I don’t want to cause harm but at the same time, should I just lose my 20.000….? It’s money I truly need and I have not taken out more than I put in initially so I have no desire to gain anything. I just need my initial investment back and that’s it. I have no greed and I have not done anything wrong. This is such an awful situation……
