@lornerubenstein @lornerubenstein I popped back to @ClubHuntercombe yesterday, on one of those blissful days that golf sometimes serves. Took a whole load of shots, reams of notes and a few photos. Such a wonderful golf course and club! “part of this wonderful scene again…”

I read this entertaining collection by ⁦@pitchmarks⁩ on my flight home from Scotland. On Huntercombe in England, and the foursomes played there: “you play not for some meaningless score, or even to win, but just to be part of this wonderful scene again for a few hours.”

Right now the greens at @ClubHuntercombe are the best they have ever been. I cant tell you what a pleasure it is to play out there. Add a little autumn sunshine and you have near perfect conditions for a flash around the 'combe.

@ClubHuntercombe I just played there Saturday and loved the course. I was wondering if there was a way to get one of the pin flags with the Wille Park Jr signature on it? New or used works for me!

Good luck to all today playing on our Company Golf Day. We hope they enjoy the course as much as the famous author, Ian Fleming, who would complete all 18 holes in under two hours!

There's a UK & Ireland Top 100 ranking out from the US @GOLF_com magazine. This graphic shows how it compares to an aggregate of the @TheTodaysGolfer, @GolfMonthly, @top100golf and @NCG_com lists. I've written an article on some of the differences here - ukgolfguy.com/golf-blog/golf…

Very good list IMHO - but then I would say that as it is extremely similar to 2022 @GolfWorld1 GB&I 100. The top 40 especially! Enjoy Fraserburgh and Huntercombe inclusions lower down a lot. I’m sure Peter Snow, I mean @ukgolfguy, will be along with some analysis shortly.
