@manorairairai @NBAMemes Of course it is, but in modern basketball, a player who is considered a good shooter is mainly associated with three-point shooting. Also, the players we’re talking about are known throughout their careers for their three-point shot as their primary skill.

@SENickkk @Vishal_Greene @NBAMemes Exactly. And the fact that the others have a better percentage than him while taking significantly more shots is a point in their favor, not against them.

@Vishal_Greene @NBAMemes We compare based on the numbers we actually have. What do you want us to do, start assuming what his stats would look like if he took as many shots as the others?

@George_1323 The impressive part isn’t the points, it’s how fast he recognizes the advantage after the turnover. In playoff basketball, that split-second read is usually the whole possession.

@ClutchNumbers LeBron leading this stat in Year 23 tells you everything. Athleticism fades but elite processing speed doesn't.

That’s not a hot take. If the Lakers get past OKC, they’ll have already beaten the toughest team standing between them and the Finals. OKC is by far the hardest matchup in the West. They have elite defense, elite depth, elite pace, and arguably the MVP in Shai. On top of that, the Lakers may have to survive most of this series without Luka at full strength, which makes the challenge even tougher. If they get through all of that, they’ll have the momentum, confidence, and championship experience with LeBron and Luka to beat anybody left.

HOT TAKE: If the Lakers get past OKC, they’re winning it all.

@ddpage369 Context matters. Doing it in consecutive playoff runs against top defensive teams like Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets makes that efficiency even more impressive.
