@shebahn Don't comment on what you don't understand. Educate yourself about racism first, one of many topics you are highly ignorant about. Either that, or you just don't care about black players and what they go through because of images like this that bait racism, which is more likely.

Agree with Eni Aluko or not, but if your response involves racism, misogyny, or mocking her appearance, you’ve already lost the debate. The moment you resort to abuse, your argument becomes moot.

I spoke to @tSHandJ @PaulHawksbee about Eni Aluko’s comments about Nedum Onouha and Ian Wright. Male pundits in the women’s game encourage men to watch it, and there’s more to being a pundit than just your England caps!

They are both adults therefore entitled to take accountability or not! If the apology isn’t sincere then it’s not an apology. She’s acting spoilt 😂

It’s about the responsibility of a man of colour to a woman of colour expressing her opinion in the public domain and on social media. I don’t respect him for that. But yes let’s agree to disagree.

Caps don’t win automatic work and they don’t make a brilliant pundit either. The way you communicate, articulate yourself, do your research, inform your audience, how likeable you are and the chemistry you have with your panel are what makes a brilliant pundit.

Eni Aluko can’t shout racism, because Ian Wright and other black pundits get heaps of work and are well loved. She can’t shout sexism because Laura Woods and other female pundits get heaps of work and are well loved. At some point, she just has to accept that she tried a new career, but she’s not very good at it, and she’s very unlikeable. She should have acknowledged this with dignity and thanked people for the opportunity, instead of whatever this car crash PR run is.

@__Shezi This is a fantastic book, there is also a sequel to this, which I only realised after reading this book. Another great book was What are you looking for in the Library- another must read!

I bought a book because I liked the illustration, and it’s turned out to be a good read 😂. They keep asking the question: if you could go back in time, to a moment you’d like to change or improve, but knowing that it won’t change the present, would you do it? I’m so thrilled.

@BarclaysWSL Sorry but how does taking the knee help prevent racism, taking a knee is becoming a fashion trend … ‘ooh let’s prevent racism let take the knee’ 🙄 as a women of colour in football I actually cringe when I see teams take the knee!! The importance of visibility!
