Sports can’t be just about individual statistics and winning. When sports aren’t FUN for young athletes, the chance for burnout &/or quitting increases. 💫You can be COMPETITIVE & have FUN! Keep them in the game. #BDSCamps #GrowTheGame #FUNdamentals

Good hitters HIT… Regardless of: ▪️weather ▪️spot in line-up ▪️speed &/or movement of opposing pitcher ▪️game situation ▪️result of last at bat ▪️etc, etc, etc What are you doing to work on your physical & mental skills so you can be clutch?! Confidence comes from preparation.

This sums up playing time perfectly. Players think... "play me and I'll show you." Coaches think.. "show me & then I'll play you.” Coaches evaluate practice every day. That's your "show time." Be consistent & execute all the little things. Make plays, barrel balls, throw accurately. Run bases…Etc… Demonstrate daily you are the best option to help the team win. Goal….Be so good that you are the first name penciled in the line-up each game.

Treat everyone with the same respect. That lower level coach you just blew off could be at your dream school next year. Be grateful that any coach reaches out. A lot of players would love to be in your shoes. Talent is one thing, but a humble athlete with character is next level!
