@Sollozzo77 @MattPrehm That’s what they said about Saban too. It would be logical but it doesn’t hold truth. Especially not with the state of NIL. Every player is on a year to year basis. If he retires, they might transfer. If he doesn’t, they might still transfer.

@MattPrehm Altman's gotta be close to winding things down. He's almost 70 and has coached every CBB season since 1989. Players aren't going to want to go someplace where the coach is almost certain to leave during their time there.

Dana Altman and staff won 20+ games 15 years in a row. 10 earned NCAAT trips. 2 of those with Evans Shelstad. They were going to be the face of the program next year. If one bad year wipes away 15 years of a proven winning program, questions have to be asked for both sides.
